Navin Prabhakar is awaiting three back-to-back releases. ‘Bhavnao Ko Samjho’, ‘Vroom’ and ‘Mujhe Ramuji Se Milna Hai’ are ready for release. He is doing a lead in the former and in latter two films he is playing a negative character.
Bhavnao ko samjho is about a lower middle class guy who is looking for a short cut to become rich in life. In the course to accomplish his mission he fakes love with a multi-millionaire girl, but when he realizes that she is being cheated by her own family he genuinely helps her.
Another film ‘Vroom’ is basically a film about cars in which he is essaying the role of an assistant to a vamp, who is spying on a scientist. “You will see me flying and getting hit by the cars. I have also fought with 5ft tall dog, while doing the sequence I had to put my hand in dog’s mouth,†briefs the busy man.
He is also doing a film called ‘Mujhe Ramuji Se Milna Hai’. Film revolves around three boys who are diploma holders in film course. After the course they somehow arrange funds to come to Mumbai to make it big in Bollywood. “Youngsters from north generally think they have completed diploma and now some big director is waiting to cast them in Mumbai. In fact, they will mortgage or sell their property to finance their stay in Mumbai to struggle. But once, when the money is over they tend to take up trivial role in serials at times passing shots behind the actors, where they are asked to turn their backs to camera,†he elucidates. Film is about how the dreams shatter, when encountering the real world.
His journey from Pehchaan Kaun to this big Pehchaan has vroomed a long way.
