March 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sudha Murthy, a Padmashri award winner and the wife of Infosys founder, Narayana Murthy, is all set to act in the Kannada film, Prarthane. According to her, debutant director Sadashiva Shenoy, who used to be a journalist, is the Voice of Karnataka. She will be doing this role free of charge.
Sudha Murthy is a renowned author and also a columnist who will be shooting for Prarthane for just a day.
The film stars Ananthnag, Prakash Raj, Pavitra Lokesh, Ashok, Master Sachin and some others. The camera is by S Ramachandra and it is his 75th film. One of the songs in the film, a prayer song, will be scored by Veer Samarth.
