Kajol’s sister Tanisha has not been doing any great films even though she had a much hped Yash Raj production Neal ‘N’ Nikki with Uday Chopra.
Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj and One Two Three were her only releases this year. She went down south to do some good films and did well in Telugu and Tamil films. Now, she is getting ready to take up a Bengali film with mom Tanuja. She will start shooting in August. The film has been titled Mukti. Tanisha will work with her mother in a film for the first time. Kajol and Tanuja had worked together in Bekhudi and now Tanisha wants to get the same experience of comfort of working with her.
Unlike her cousin Rani, Tanisha is not well versed with Bengali even though it is her mother tongue as well. She has been brought up in Mumbai and is fluent in Marathi but not in Bengali. Tanisha will be trained by her mother and director Gautam Haldar for the film. They are training her the language as well. Tanisha is open to do Marathi films as well as the Marathi film industry is also doing very well.
Tanisha wants to do a fantasy fiction film and she loves fantasy books with fairies and dragon to read. She also likes comic adaptations and likes the supermen series like X-Men. Given a chance, she would like to play Catwoman.
