Veena Malik visits EyeCatchers, Hair & Beauty Salon for the promotion of her film Zindagi 50-50

Veena Malik visits “EyeCatchers, Hair & Beauty Salon” for the promotion of her film “Zindagi 50 50”. The young and bold 25 year old Bollywood actress Veena Malik visited the Hair and Beauty Salon, EyeCatchers today for the promotion of her upcoming Bollywood film “Zindagi 50 50” at the EyeCatchers outlet at City Centre II Mall at Rajarhat.

There were over thousands of excited fans in the crowd at City Centre II who wished to get a glimpse of her and desired to meet her personally and consequently followed her till the EyeCatchers outlet on the Second Floor. Veena Malik was also accompanied at the Salon with another star cast of the film, Rajan Verma, who is playing the role of Birju in Zindagi 50-50. Veena has been seen strongly promoting the film and has been travelling to various cities like Kolkata, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, etc as a part of her City tours for promotion of this Bollywood movie.

On this occasion Veena Malik, the Pakistani model-turned actress said, “I am very happy to meet my lovely fans all over City Centre II and I thank EyeCatchers for giving me this opportunity to visit here today. I am here to promote my movie Zindagi 50:50 where I am playing a very challenging role and I hope that people would love it.”

Apart from Veena, the movie also stars Riya Sen, Rajan Verma, Arya Babbar, Supriya Kumari, Rajpal Yadav and Murli Sharma in pivotal roles. Zindagi 50:50 is a story of special dreams of a common man. And to fulfil those dreams, he has to struggle a lot, but sometimes they gets it easily and sometime he has to lose everything. Zindagi means Life, sometimes its fun, and sometimes it’s a curse but it’s just a viewpoint. One part belongs to the life of a sex worker in Mumbai, second part belongs to an Auto Rickshaw driver and Third part narrates the struggle of a junior artist.

‘Zindagi 50-50? is directed by Rajiv Ruia, in which Veena is playing a prostitute named Madhuri and the actress gets into the skin of the character to bring live her character. This is not the first time the Bollywood industry is featuring a leading lady in this type of role. Yet, Veena has been doing thorough research to understand her character better. She says she loves the character she is playing and whom she describes as being “realistic rather than bold”.

Bollywood bombshell, Veena believes that looking good is part of life and Quality service is indeed the keyword in this thriving beauty business. The role I am playing in the film has a deep character in it.” The beauty diva is all set to wow the audience with her acting skills in ‘Zindagi 50-50’, which will hit theatres from May 24, 2013.
