Delhi witnessed a Cornucopia of music and Dance along with Neha Dhupia. Zenith, the dance troupe, that mesmerized the world for over 8 years now and has more than 3000 shows to their credit in India and abroad, attained yet another mile stone. Yet another step towards peak with its breathtaking and stunning performance “Danceiz’ere†at Sirifort Auditorium recently to jam packed hall in presence of Chief Guest Dipender Pathak- Joint Commissioner Delhi Police.
The entire show was choreographed by Sooraj Katoch, who also led the breathtaking demonstration of creativity, vigor and versatility. The evening started with performance by tiny tots dance wizards of academy with their mentors and went on to enchant audience with “Swing and groove to Rock N Roll & Jazz performances†by senior students of academy. While horror show enthralled viewers, spirit of street life brought alive in a dance performance by street children trained at Zenith Institute. Among all this, how could Bollywood be left behind, Zenith dancers displayed various moods of Bollywood right form Mughal-E-Azam’s ‘Pyar kiya To Dar Na Kya’ to Latest ‘Devdas’ song ‘Maar Dala’ and ‘Mere Haat Mein Tera Haat Ho’ from ‘Fanah’, Tu Hi Re from Bombay etc.

Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia arrived all along from Mumbai to wish the young dancers of Zenith for their achievements. She said performances are simply beyond the expression. She presented the mementos to the best performers. Even I am very found of dance, my favorite dance No. is Dhoom again from Dhoom2. Other guests at this eve were Model- Vandana Vadhera, Pop Singer-Vipin Aneja all the guest were facilitated with flowers by mentor of Zenith Ritu Soni. Nitin Arora hosted the show in his own style along with the imitation of Bollywood actors to make the audience laugh a lot.
Every Sequence & performance choreographed so religiously had Sooraj’s heart and soul into it. His every movement was an art, mixed beautifully of different forms of dance, deriving from the elegance of one and the movements of the other. He blended the versatility of one and missed it with the technically of the other. Viewers explored every emotion like Comedy, Love, Joy etc of life in dance. The performance that portrayed the dark ness was extremely superb with its technicality.

After the show, amongst the thunderous sound of applause Sooraj remarked, “With the growth of more fluid lines in dance and people exploring with new forms of expression, dance has changed its face, form and reach. Nor only more and more people are exploring dance as a career option, but a fun way to keep one fit and enjoy lifeâ€.
The event was organized on the eve of Zenith’s foundation day. Zenith dance Academy, a brainchild of Ritu Soni & Sooraj Katoch was incepted in 1999. It was the dream of these two individuals who loved to dance and vowed to stick to it throughout their lives. It was this burning passion in both promoters of the academy that has brought Zenith to the pinnacle of success in the industry.
