Shabana Azmi invited by Prince Charles
After remaining away from the lime light for sometime now, Shabana Azmi has fainally got loads to speak. She has been appointed the goodwill ambassador for SAARC and has been invited by Prince Charles. She is also getting ready to be a part of a reality show and also don the cap of SRK’s mother in a Karan Johar next.
Looks like a lot to do for the time being. Shabana & husband Javed Akhtar have been invited to the Buckingham Palace by Prince Charles. The royal invitation requires them to be there with the royal family from July 12 to 16. The other guests include business tycoon’s LN Mittal and Mukesh Ambani. She received the Gandhi Peace Prize at the House of Lords. Shabana attributes the invitation to this honor. She would be there for two days and would basically discuss the Indo-UK relationships related with charity.
Shabana has also decided what topics she would be taking up there to discuss with Prince Charles and the other officials from charitable institutions. She would talk about housing fro the lower class people, children’s issues and Global warming. She firmly states she would be presentable when she meets the Prince. She has decided to wear ethnic sarees for formal gatherings and chic western-wear for working lunches.
As a goodwill ambassador, she hopes work for women and spreading public awareness.
