Rani says no no to Bhansali
Rani declined the offer of a cameo role in Bhansali’s next production Chenab Gandhi. She told him that she loved the script and would love to act provided she is given a lead role. 
Vidya Balan who has been chosen to play the lead role opposite to Harman Baweja had been finalized by Bhansali and he had to accept Rani’s decision, as he did not want to go back and change the cast which he had decided earlier. Quite reasonable as that would be very very unprofessional.
Rani probably did the right thing. Why? Though she glimmered in the glory of her role in Black and she only got a small role in Saawariya, that accepted to play as a plain gratitude to Bhansali.
There is already news in bollywood, that SRK has not been in good terms with Bhansali after SRK made a mocking remark at Saawariya’s failure and Bhansali did not miss out in retaliating with a verbal lashing at SRK. Keeping this in mind, Rani will definitely prefer SRK to Bhansali as she would stand a better chance with SRK than Bhansali to reclaim her lost position in bollywood, plus Bhansali has gone down after the failure of Saawariya.
