Sonam given the royal ignore

Sonam Kapoor might be considered chic and beautiful in B-Town but she’s miles away from acquiring international fame. In fact even her father Anil Kapoor has a long way to go! The buzz is that she was totally ignored along with daddy dearest at the London Film Festival recently. Anil Kapoor was invited to promote the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ in which he has made a guest appearance as a TV show host.
According to a source, “Anil was supposed to come with his wife but instead took his daughter Sonam. The reason behind this could have been to promote her to the outside world, outside of Bollywood.”
Unfortunately both father and daughter were sidelined by the media. No one approached them for interview or photographs. Adds the source,”None of the British press was interested in taking photos of Sonam or her father. To them they were unknowns and not news-worthy.”
Obviously both father and the daughter were disappointed and felt left out in the event.
Sonam baby, getting international fame is no cake walk. You need to be lucky enough for that!
