October 18, 2010 : After creating a lot of furor with his coveted action sequences and several romantic films, the action man Akshay Kumar zoomed in right into your living rooms ( or bed rooms) with his cookery show ‘Master Chef’ on the 16th of October, on Star Plus!
It has been a long wait for most of Akshay’s fans, who have been waiting for this show, which has two master chefs from the culinary world as the judges, and it is a reality based show, with some of the common man master chefs, battling it out on the sets of the show to create some very mind boggling and tongue tinkling recipes to be crowned the ultimate master chef.
Reportedly, the winner will get to open up his or own restaurant, and will get all the help, the infrastructure et al, from the show organizers!
Now, that’s really a good prize, and in addition to that, having Akshay Kumar sharing his culinary expert tips (Akki was a cook in Bangkok, before he struck gold as a top Bollywood star) is certainly an opportunity of a lifetime for the contestants.
Moreover, there are reports that the two judges on the show, have really been impressed with the kind of expertise that the participants of the show have been showing. Well, seems that this is going to be one of the most interesting shows on the small screen.
