Matt Lanter Isn’t Beautiful Enough To Play Edward Cullen

Published on

October 15, 2010 : The ‘90210’ super hunk Matt Lanter has no problem making all the Beverly Hills girls go ga ga over his killer looks.  In a candid interview the actor recently confessed that he auditioned for the role of Edward Cullen in ‘twilight’. However the producers were not impressed by Matt’s good looks and wanted someone else to play the role of the Vampire hunk. The role eventually went to British actor Robert Pattinson, which has made him a celebrity and a global phenomenon.

Apparently the producers told Matt that he was somewhat lacking in the looks department. The producers wanted an actor who would look hauntingly beautiful in the role of Edward Cullen.  But eventually Matt had his laugh as he was cast for the role of ‘Edward Sullen’ in the popular spoof of Twilight called Vampires Suck.  The 27-year old actor has made the audience swoon with his superb physique and uber-cool attitude with ‘90210’. Some of his fans believe that he would have been the perfect choice to play Edward Cullen.

We are sure that Matt will land quite a few big roles in the near future and get a good shot at fame and glory soon enough.
