Many saas bahu serials haters must have heaved a sigh of relief after coming to know that ‘Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi’ which has been on air for ages is coming to an end at last!
But the truth is there’s set to be more Kyunki Saas sort of drama on the telly soon.
The buzz is that Star Group is going to replace the shelved ‘Kyunki saas…’ and ‘Kahani Ghar…’ with new Balaji serials.
Balaji Telefilms and the Star group fell out and it was all over taking the long running soap ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ off air.
The channel had its way and the show’s set to end soon.
As for the new Balaji presentation, it’s called ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna’ and it will be aired soon on Star Plus.
The replacement is happening soon, but no official statements have been issued by any of the concerned camps.
A top Star official has reportedly said, “The matter is currently sub-judice. However, it doesn’t stop us from launching new Balaji shows. They will continue to be our content producers.”
The new show is said to be a family oriented fable about two friends turned enemies, and what happens when their grandchildren fall in love.
It’s another matter that this show too sounds very predictable. A few more Balaji shows are being planned for Star too though revelations haven’t been made yet.
The Balaji Czarina just maintains that letting one of shows start with a ‘t’ is just a one-off thing and she’ll revert back to her favourite K- word soon too!
So the bottom line is, the ghisa pita game’s far from over!
