Yes you have heard it right. Our very own boxing champ, Vijendra Singh will be soon entering in the world of television and a new reality show called ‘The Contender‘. He will be seen as a host of the show.
“The Contender is an adaptation of the foreign based show with the same name. This will be a boxing reality show which will be hosted by Viji,”
says our source.
When asked about the judges of the show, our khabroo informs,
“The producers are planning to rope in Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan. Though these are the names in the wish list and nothing has been confirmed as yet.”
The show will be produced by Bulldog Entertainment and Percept Picture Company (PPC).
“The channel is not yet decided but if the buzz is to be believed, its going to be AXN,”
chirps the little birdie.
It’s still long wait for the audience to watch the show on air.
“The show will be launching in the next year (2010) though the exact date and the timings is yet to be confirmed,”
