Why Kamya Punjabi was irritated in the recent television awards function?

Kamya Punjabi is not a happy girl. The television babe who rocked in her performance and was much appreciated for her work in the show, Dulhan is not all that happy with the television awards people. The story goes like this…

Kamya recently attended an award function and expressed her disregard when the award titled ‘Best Personality Award’ was given to a young actor who is hardly a few months old into the television industry.

“I was really in a bad mood when in a recent television award the ‘Best Personality Award’ was given to some young newcomer types chap. I say, why the award people did such a thing. Our industry has renowned people like Sarita Joshi, Alok Nath, Aruna Ali, Sharad Malthotra, Kamya Punjabi etc. The Industry has such great people then why to give such a prestigious award to a guy who has just spent a few months in this industry. We are ‘old’ here are certainly we are ‘gold’. I am really not satisfied with their judgment”, says unsatisfied cum irritated Kamya.

Kamya is making a come back in her favorite show, Dulhan. Buzz is that she will now play a grey character in Dulhan.
