YRF TV Attempting To Make A Mark In Sony TV By Offering ‘Khote Sikkey’

January 25, 2011 : Yash Raj Films (YRF) ventured into television with a whiff of fresh air but unfortunately its shows could not make any impact and gradually faded away to oblivion. However, this time YRF TV has something exciting to offer to the audiences.YRF is trying an attempt to make a mark in Sony TV with their latest offering ‘Khote Sikkey’. YRF is quite optimistic that this time they will be able to win the viewers with their latest show.

‘Khote Sikkey’ is a thriller and deals with the story of five youngsters who are spoilt brats. However, these youngsters are on a mission to eradicate crimes from the society. These youngsters fights for issues such as drug abuse, drunken driving or street fights. They are assisted by an honest cop in their mission.

In an interview Ravina Raj Kohli, creative head of YRF TV added that the show will be different from the rest as it does not deal with the typical family sagas and they plan to reach out to maximum number of audiences as it is a thriller.

Kohli further added that ‘Khote Sikkey’ will be a biweekly show and YRF TV is trying to make a mark with its new show named ‘Kismat’. Besides that the second season of ‘Mahi Way’ will soon be unveiled on television.
