HEMA MALINI WHO PLAYS THE TITLE ROLE of RAJMATA VIJAYA RAJE SCINDIA, VINOD KHANNA (PLAYS HER HUSBAND) and SACHIN KHEDEKAR (WHO PLAYS SARDAR ANGRE) WILL BE PRESENT. MS SUSHMA SWARAJ WILL SOUND THE CLAPPER BOARD. OTHER DIGNITARIES INCLUDE GOPINATH MUNDE, VASUNDHARA RAJE SCINDIA, YASHODHARA RAJE AND OTHERS.
“Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi” is a film based on the life of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, the dynamic queen of Gwalior, as written and edited in the form of an autobiography by eminent writer Smt Mridula Sinha, “Rajpath Se Lokpath Par.”
Six times National Award and two times International Award winning director GUL BAHAR SINGH, who directs the film, believes that he is into the making of yet another classic. According to him the film would strike the right chords in the minds of a sensible audience and throw some lights on some very interesting periods and events that have never made it to the screen before. GUL BAHAR SINGH has directed two Hindi films (The Goal, Dattak) and one Bengali film (Abaidha), which have won six national and two international awards.
