Eating less ‘boosts memory in elderly’

London, Jan 27 (ANI): Eating less can help older adults improve their memory and prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer’s, suggests a new study. Cutting on calorie intake increases lifespan in mice, reduces the risk of heart disease in people and boosts cognitive ability in elderly animals, it has been shown. (more…)

Eating less may not extend life of lean people

Washington, Jan 25 (ANI): Caloric restriction may not be a universally beneficial anti-aging strategy, as commonly believed, according to a new study in mice. Researchers said that the anti-aging strategy known as caloric restriction may help obese people but for lean humans, eating less may be a pointless, frustrating and even dangerous exercise. (more…)
