‘MJ’s family barred best pals from his memorial service’

London, July 19 (ANI): Michael Jackson’s three best friends – Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor and Oprah Winfrey – were denied permission by the King of Pop’s family to attend his public memorial service, it has emerged.

The clan has reportedly always been furious about the King of Pop’s long friendship with Taylor, an iconic Hollywood actress.

"She was always Michael’s friend, not the family’s. They resented her. Elizabeth Taylor was crushed and she’s still crying," the Daily Express quoted New York columnist Cindy Adams as saying.

The 77-year-old actress posted on Twitter site: "I’m still grieving for Michael. I always will."

She added: "I am a survivor."

The Pop legend’s mother Katherine was unhappy with Diana Ross too.

She allegedly accused the singer of "poisoning her son against his own flesh and blood".

The Jackson family apparently believes that the Motown legend influenced Michael to come on the Oprah show in 1993 and for the first time disclose his lonely life and his father’s cruel ways. (ANI)
