ANGELS & DEMONS PROMISES TO DELIVER MORE THAN “DA VINCI CODE”. THE TRAILOR ALREADY HAS 1.2 MILLION HITS ON YOUTUBE . The trailer for Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment’s latest offering, Angels and Demons, already at 1.2 million views on YouTube, promises to deliver more action and story than The Da Vinci Code. With the casting of Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Stellan Skarsgård, Pierfrancesco Favino, and of course none other than Tom Hanks, an apparently high pace delivery, Angels and Demons, based on Dan Brown’s bestselling prequel to Da Vinci Code, the new movie seems set to out perform The Da Vinci Code. Shemaroo Entertainment has had a superb experience with their first English title release. The wonderful packaging of Cloud 9 drew a lot of attention from the retail shops. Further, Cloud 9 went ahead with exciting activities that were conducted for the first time in Shemaroo. The movie was released on the Friendship Day wherein Café Coffee Day had a special Cloud 9 Combo in their menu card. Anybody on the friendship day who would order a Cloud 9 Combo would get the exclusive movie Merchandise. On that special day all the Coffee Day outlets had a Cloud 9 Table Mat which contained a SMS contest with Phoney Tunes and the winner would stand a chance a win a Gift hamper.
Shemaroo Entertainment releases ‘On the Right Track’ starring the popular Gary Coleman of the American sitcom – Diff’rent Strokes – fame, where he played the role of Arnold Jackson. This show was broadcast from 1978 to 1986 and was a quick success. Capitalizing on this fame, Coleman starred in a number of feature films including On the Right Track, which also features Maureen Stapleton, Norman Fell and Michael Lembeck.
Shemaroo Entertainment has released one of the most adventurous and the most controversial thriller based on a true incident, ‘Philadelphia Experiment’. This film which became a cult movie has won the best film award at the Fanta Festival. Directed by Stewart Raffill, the movie stars Michael Pare and Nancy Allen, where Nancy Allen was nominated in the best actress category for the Saturn Award.
