The Final Destination

The movie The Final Destination can be adjudged as the worst horror film of the year. Simply put, the movie is an utter crap and you can certainly plan a better weekend rather than watching this film. You can 100% give it a miss. Well, if you really want to watch the film read on and probably this might help you take the right decision.

The film is the fourth sequel and for God’s sake the audience is no fool to repeatedly accept the same non-sense. And if the filmmaker thought so, he might already be paying a hefty price for coming up with The Final Destination. Just imagine, as it is the movie does not have a meaningful concept and the icing on the cake is that it is presented with 3D effect. It is left to the audience to search for a probable logic, may be.

All right, let us come to the point- the plot of the movie; there is actually no concrete plot for the movie. Probably if did have one The Final Destination obviously would have something to score upon. Anyways, the movie has some atrocious killing scenes that are aided by Death.

The gruesome killings are planned and executed by Rube Goldberg or the so-called Death who intends to kill people who are escaping him with help of their foresighted companion.

The entire movie revolves round this mindless violence. The Final Destination is all about a handful of people in the NASCAR race who are trying to outsmart death. How their mortal lives come to an end with the ugly plans made by Death? These plans are better left than discussed.

This horror flick should definitely be laid to rest, as it has nothing new to offer and the irrational violence and soulless script is simply suicidal. Even for the Final Destination series fan this new variant offers nothing but sure to give a headache or some might even pull out their hair in frustration for spending their precious time and money over such crap. Most of the killing sequences are so clichéd and the audience can “foresee’’ what is coming next.

We have to definitely thank the director David R. Ellis for one thing- for making the movie run only for 90 minutes because even an extra minute would have made it difficult for him to give a meaningful ending to the film. The main character of the film Bobby Campo spoils all the suspense because he is the one who can foresee how each character dies.

Oh yes, not to forget the acting skills; they are very close to average and anyway let them save all their hidden talent for a better script. And if the director thought with some 3D effect he will win over a few audience if not a large number then he must be nuts because he is already underestimating the audience, which is enough for his movie to get dumped.

Our heartfelt sympathies to all those who had already watched the torture!
