Angelina Jolie leaves Nice Hospital with twins
London, July 20 (IANS) Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has checked out of the hospital, where she gave birth to twins, with her newborns. A statement on the hospital website said the 33-year-old and the twins had left the clinic Saturday morning, reports contactmusic.com. The twins were born last weekend. “The mother and her babies are doing very well,” said the statement posted on the website.
Jolie gave birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline by caesarean, with her obstetrician Michael Sussman explaining he felt pressure during the birth due to the actress’ fame. Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt are already parents to four children together - they have three adopted children - Maddox, six, four-year-old Pax Thien and Zahara, three, as well as biological daughter Shiloh who is 21 months old.
Picture agencies are reportedly in the midst of a bidding war to get rights to official photographs of the twins, with some commentators predicting a £10 million fee for the snaps.
