Pete Doherty collapses due to drug overdose
London, Sep 2 (IANS) Troubled British singer Pete Doherty was revived by doctors after a suspected drug overdose ahead of a performance in Austria, according to reports. Doherty had reportedly been on a huge spree at his promoter Bettina Aichbauer’s farmhouse in Graz and collapsed before he was due to sing solo at a porn cinema there, reports thesun.co.uk.
Aichbauer called an ambulance and he was revived but the performance had to be delayed by four hours. Doherty refused hospital treatment and managed to play his gig.
His agent refused to comment on the incident.
He was lately in news for having a run-in with an airline staff after he turned up late for a flight to Salzburg and then started crying on the airport.
