What are Clooney, Barnes, Brosnan and Sarandon upto!
Let’s list down some of the upcoming films signed by four of Hollywood’s grade A actors. Famous actor George Clooney has signed a film titled Men Who Stare at Goats while Ben Barnes stars in upcoming The Picture of Dorian Grayand and Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon pair up in The Greatest. These films are set to be going to production soon. While Clooney will also be seen in Coen brothers’ Burn After Reading, Barnes’ The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is going ok in US box office. Sarandon has taken up a mom’s role in Speed Racer.
George Clooney’s film Men Who Stare at Goats will be based on an adaptation of a book by journalist of British origin Jon Ronson. His book on the conspiracy theorist book about the U.S. Army’s First Earth Battalion which was supposed to possess supernatural powers has been much appreciated. This film will be directed by Clooney’s partner, in his hotel business, the famous Smoke House, and fellow actor Grant Heslov.
Barnes’ next film is an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. The film is about a young man who is captivated by his own beauty who faces many unseen events on his journey to get a portrait done. Barnes will also be appearing in a romantic comedy titled Easy Virtue and the next in the Narnia series The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon’s The Greatest is the story of grieving parents who are brought to a chaotic point by their daughter while they are still fighting over the loss of their teenage son. Brosnan will also be seen in the Broadway adaptation Mamma Mia! and will play the title role The Thomas Crown Affair 2 . Sarandon has just finished shooting for The Lovely Bones, directed by Peter Jackson.
