UNITED WE BELIEVE IN CHANGING MEN’S HEALTH- Now in its fifth consecutive year, Australian founded men’s health movement Movember, has spread its whiskers across the globe and now takes place in Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada, UK, Ireland and Spain.
During November, Citizens of Movember (Mo Bros and Mo Sistas) unite to raise awareness and funds for male health issues by either growing a moustache, or supporting the efforts of a moustache enthusiast. With a long term view of transforming men’s health, moustaches of all shapes, sizes and colours, appear with the sole aim of prompting public and private discussion about men’s health.
To date, over 200,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas have raised in excess of $30 million globally – funds which have been directed towards world class research and support programs, relating to men’s health issues.
At the end of Movember, Gala Partés are held across the world to thank and celebrate the united efforts of the Citizens of Movember. Formidable moustaches, partnered with inspired costumes and supportive Mo Sistas celebrate together as the most prestigious accolade is awarded…..Man of Movember.
United, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas believe that something greater exists and that there is a cure to be found for prostate cancer and male depression.
