Patna businessman gunned down near his kids’ school

Patna, Sep 12 (IANS) A businessman on his way back home after leaving his children at school was shot dead by unidentified men here Friday for refusing to pay extortion money, police said.
Vijay Patel, who is around 30, was gunned down near the gate of a school in the Chowk locality here. Police said Patel was returning to his residence after leaving his children in school when the criminals fired at him. He died on the spot.

The victim’s family said he was killed after he refused to pay the money demanded by extortionists.
