Aishwarya was present at the launch of ‘Angrezi Patiala Kitchen and Bar’ in Mumbai on Monday.
Asked about her debut film ‘Kaashi, In Search of Ganga’ trailer release and responses from her south fraternity she said, ” Everyone highly appreciated my looks and performance in the trailer. Malayalam actors like Mammootty and Jayasurya who are also very close to me appreciated my command over the Hindi language being a South Indian and also mentioned that I have a really great voice which will be helpful for me to build a great career in Bollywood.”
Devan will be seen playing a journalist in the film, when talking about her experience she said her director Dhiraj and co star Sharman Joshi helped her portray the character well.
“I had an amazing experience playing a journalist in this film. confidence, sharp body language and good command over the language these are the qualities of a journalist and I worked on the same for my character Devina. Also my Co actor Sharman Joshi and my director Dhiraj Kumar helped me to portray the character well onscreen.”
Talking about the restaurant’s launch she said, “I am really excited to try the new menu and walk into the revamped restaurant. I have been here many times before and love the food here, I am a fan. I just wish them luck, they have been running successfully all these years and I hope they go on the same way for years to come.”
On future projects Aishwarya said, “Right now I am just looking forward to the release of ‘Kaashi, In Search of Ganga’ and reading some really good scripts. Hopefully you’ll all see me sign a project very soon.”
