Shweta Rohira, who Salman Khan considers his rakhi sister, makes her acting debut in short film ‘Parineeti’. On Thursday, makers of the film hosted special screening of the film in Mumbai. Bollywood celebrities like Ali Fazal, Kartik Aaaryan, Elli Avram, Karishma Tanna, Pooja Bose, Kanwaljit Singh, Richa Chaddha, Daisy Shah and Iulia Vantur attended the screening.

Karishma Tanna – Movie is extremely sweet and cute. Through this film, it has shown that, in today’s fragile world how quickly people tend to the decision of separation but in this film, a daughter makes her effort to reunite her parents. Shweta, Kanwaljit Singh and Kittu Gidwani has done really amazing job with it.
Ali Fazal – I loved the film. It’s a very touching film. I never expected Shweta to be so good. Kanwaljeet sir has also done great job in this film.
Elli Avram – I am so proud of Shweta. The film is looking wonderful and Shweta acted beautifully in the film. It was an emotional film and with this film shweta is going to be a star.

Kartik Aaryan – The film is amazing. Shweta has done really great job in the film. It is amazing film with amazing message of reuniting family because many people go through this phase. In this film, it has shown that how a daughter makes her effort to reunite her family.

Richa Chaddha – Film is really sweet. It’s about relationship between father and daughter. Shweta , Kanwaljit Singh and Kittu Gidwani acted well in the film and I am here to support Shweta as this is the first time she has faced the camera.

Iulia Vantur – It was beautiful surprise to see shweta acting. Movie has nice story and I am really happy for Shweta.
Daisy Shah – I am very emotional watching this film especially the relationship between father and daughter as I was very close to my father. Shweta has done superb Job in this beautiful film.

Shweta Rohila – I was getting offers for films and television shows, I was not sure of my own strength and capabilities. But when this short film came my way, I loved the script as I could connect with my character. There was no way I could let this go,” she says. About her character in the film, she says, “I play a modern girl who understands the importance of family and relationships.”
It was a mind blowing experience as this was the first time I was facing the camera. Thanks to Kanwaljit sir and my director-producer Sunil Thadani, I was comfortable and was able to play my character well.

Elli Avram

Parineeti is the story of a daughter’s efforts to see her father happy at all costs. At this stage in life she knows that loneliness is eating away at him and wishes to fix the problem in her own unique way.

She is playing the title role with seasoned actors like Kitu Gidwani and Kanwaljeet Singh as co-stars.

It is produced by Ratnesh Kumar, Mohan Shetty and directed by Sunil Thadani
Shweta was earlier married to actor Pulkit Samrat.
