Mumbai, April 16, 2013: To showcase the best of Italian Art and fashion, Tod’s, the Italian luxury label and Tasveer, the leading photography Gallery presented the India inspired photo exhibition of Italian photographer Maimouna Guerresi with an opening cocktail reception at the Piramal Gallery, NCPA.
The evening saw guests such as Sanjay Suri, Onir, Tanaaz Bhatia, Aneesh and Vinita Trivedi, Tariq Ansari, Daksha Khandwala, Gautam Patole, Ila Chatterjee, Leetu Shivdasani and many more.
Over Champagne and canapés, guests appreciated the new Tod’s D.D Bag, the evolution of the iconic D Bag, symbolizing the highest levels of craftsmanship and technical expertise, in soft quality calf leather with a sophisticated structure, specially displayed for the opening night and inspiration to Maimouna’s works as well as the Indian culture.
Maimouna Guerresi’s photographic works are unique marvels of craftsmanship, just as Tod’s showcases the best of Italian fashion and superior craftsmanship in its products. With this exhibition, the brand seeks to present Italian Art in India through the artist’s India inspired photographs.
The exhibition continues at the Piramal Gallery till April 24, 2013 everyday (except public holidays) 12:00 pm – 08:00 pm.
