Shazahn Padamsee and Jackie Shroff at Poonam Aggarwal art event

Shazahn Padamsee, maya alagh, Jackie Shroff, Shaina NC, Poonam Aggarwal, Ananya Banerjee, Usha Aggarwal at Poonam Aggarwal art event in Museum Art gallery on 27th June 2011. The theme of this exhibition is ‘LOVE’ – the source that connects each and every one of us.  Poonam believes that love is a universal energy that holds all beings together.  It is deep, impersonal love that connects and binds us all.  Poonam has always been inspired by nature and the Divine.  “I have always been awestruck by the strength of the mountains, the trees which give so readily of themselves to everything around, displaying their impersonal love”, says Poonam.  She is most moved by the love that the Divine has for us; the love we feel when all our mistakes and shortcomings are forgiven.  Poonam’s favourite painting is called – Love, a celebration of life and death.  “Just as life comes from love, so does death.  They are two sides of the same coin that we will all go through some day.  As we are in life, so in death…this reality is very dear to me”, states Poonam about it.
