The grand Lord Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra with over 15,000 devotes from all over the world Europe, America, Australia etc. was organised in Karol Bagh by the International Gaudiya Vedanta Trust under the guidance of their spiritual master Yugacharya Srila Bhaktivendanta Narayan Goswami Maharaj.
The grand procession had many kirtan parties followed by horses & tableaus (Jhankis) depicting the pastimes of Lord Krishna and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the merciful incarnation of Lord Krishna Himself in Kalyuga. Over 15,000 devotees enjoyed the lunch & dinner prasad.

The beautifully illuminated chariot of Sri Jagannath, Baldev and Subhadra was pulled by thousands of devotees, both Indian and westerners, who were constantly chanting the Mahamantra:
“HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE
HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE”
Their Acharya, the spiritual master was sitting on another chariot, smiling and bestowing his blessings upon all onlookers.
VIPs like Shri Rajnath Singh, President (BJP); Shri Jagdish Tytler (MP); Smt Krishna Tirth (MP); Shri Ramakant Goswami (MP); Shri Surendra Pal Ratawal (MLA), also participated to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath.

In today’s fast moving life, when people don’t have for spiritual activities, Lord Krishna in the form of Lord Jagannath, Himself comes on the streets to enlighten pure bhakti in the hearts of millions.
Material life, oriented only around sense gratification and bodily pleasures cannot give us peace and happiness. Because ultimately, we are not just the bodies, we are the spirit souls. Real peace is achieved only when the supreme Lord Krishna is the centre of our lives.
We are technologically advancing, but are we able to control problems of dieseas, old age, death, alcholoism, sexual abuse, drugs, disrespect to elders, terrorism, etc?
The Governments at national and even international levels have failed to solve all these problems. So, what is the remedy?
— Krishna Consciousness — has solutions to all this. How?
1) By taking the shelter of a bona fide Guru.
2) By accepting prasadam & promoting vegetarianism.
3) By chanting and singing the holy names of the supreme Lord Krishna.
And this, transforming the hearts of millions of people into servitors of God and hence, making them good global citizens.
