Divya Khosla Kumar felt a bride again when she donned bridal designer wear for Reynu Taandon at the FDCI India Couture Week 2016 at Taj Palace Hotel. She walked the ramp in an exquisite bridal creation by Reynu Taandon, showcasing Kamangari line.
Divya Khosla Kumar, with a big nose ring, maang tika, sizzled on the catwalk in a small red choli, heavily embroidered lehenga with gota.
Feeling a bride all over again, Divya said Reynu Taandon clothes are a pop of freshness; the stunning color combination teamed with gorgeous work and the perfect fit. Reynu Taandon chose Divya because she would be perfect for a girl that redefines the conventional bridal fashion with all that is modern along with an imperial twist.
The beautiful models walked down the ramp showcasing the exquisite line of lehengas, extravagant anarkalis and saris in vivid bright and beautiful colors such as orange, red, gold and green.
Kamangari means handcrafted. The showcase mesmerized the audience with melodious Rajasthani music like Kesari Balam, Mohe Pi Ki Najaraiya and the runway decked up with traditional urli filled with fragrant mogra, and a recreation of a popular fort from Rajasthan. Reynu Taandon chose Rajasthan because she is inspired by the beauty and grandeur of Rajasthan.
The outlines reflected Rajasthan’s rich heritage, from handcrafted foil printing to usage of block prints on vibrant Chanderi fabric.
Reynu Taandon has worked with Bollywood personalities like Manoj Bajpayee, Chitrangada Singh and Minissha Lamba.
