Music director duo Sajid-Wajid say that for them providing a platform for showcasing good music is a vision.
The duo, which recently announced Avaiz Darbar as the winner of Radio City Super Singer Season 8, shared that initiatives like the radio channel’s competition are like stepping stone for talented artistes.
“Music is not just our profession or passion but the very essence of our being,” the duo said in a joint statement.
Talking about their music studio Taaleem, they said: “Providing a platform for good music to be showcased, is the vision we have behind Taaleem Studio, and initiatives such as Radio City Super Singer are stepping stones to ensuring the nation’s talent is groomed in the right direction.”
“There is a lot of great talent out there, and such platforms help bring these hidden gems to the fore,” the duo added.
