On the occasion of filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwaris 38th birthday, actress Kriti Sanon has praised the “Bareilly Ki Barfi” director by calling her simple, loving and a gem of a person.
Ashwiny, who is married to “Dangal” fame director Nitesh Tiwari, is also known for her film “Nil Battey Sannata”.
Kriti shared a look test photograph of herself and Ashwiny from the set of “Bareilly Ki Barfi” on Instagram and wrote: “That’s our first image together at the look test of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari! With you trying hard to match my height.”
She added: “A gem of a woman… Simple, loving, passionate and so real! Happy Birthday Ashwani… To long heart-to-heart conversations, lots of pampering (by you obviously), loud laughter, pouting selfies and all time swag. Love you always!”
In reply, Ashwiny tweeted: “Thank you so much my girl. My sweetest Barfi and friend/confidante for life. Love you to the moon Kriti Sanon. So many memories.”
“Bareilly Ki Barfi”, which released on August 18, was a box office hit. The film also featured actors Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana.
