‘Kahaani Express’ to talk about train journeys

“Kahaani Express” a multilingual audio show hosted by Neelesh Misra, will feature the multifaceted talent talking about the lives of different individuals travelling in trains.

Audio and music streaming service Saavn has launched “Kahaani Express”, which will have stories on emotional goodbyes, hopeful new beginnings, chance meetings, dreamers embarking on life-altering journeys, and more, read a statement.

Each story will be divided into four segments of 15 minutes each. It will air four days a week.

The stories have been voiced into three local Indian languages — Hindi, Telugu and Tamil — through 12 unique stories.

“My association with Saavn has been a great success, and with ‘Kahaani Express’ we are taking our shared vision for storytelling even further. I am excited to explore the depths of the human spirit on this show, placing the spotlight on the diverse stories of everyday people we encounter on India’s preferred and most famous mode of transportation: trains,” Misra said.

The launch of “Kahaani Express” also marks Saavn’s foray into regional content.

“Through ‘Kahaani Express’, we hope to penetrate various regional markets, sharing the stories of millions with our growing listener base. This show represents a beautiful concept that pays tribute to the iconic Indian Railways system through the unique gravitas that only Neelesh can provide,” said Paramdeep Singh, co-founder and executive chairman at Saavn.
