Mates Entertainment to release Hollywood film

Mates Entertainment, a film distribution, marketing and productions company, is set to release the Hollywood film “A Last Conjuring” in India in collaboration with producer and distributor Anil Kabra from India E-Commerce Ltd.

“I am feeling proud to announce that we will be releasing the Hollywood film ‘A Last Conjuring’ in India. It is our expansion plan. The film is a horror movie which will release early 2017,” distributor Jayveer Panghaal from Mates Entertainment told IANS.

Mates Entertainment has distributed Hindi films like “Bhouri”, “Yeh Ishq Sarfira” and “Rang-E-Ishq”.

Panghaal also spoke about collaborating with Kabra for the Hollywood project.

He said: “Anil Kabra, a known personality from the distributor market, is supporting the venture.”

“Currently, films like ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Fast and Furious’, ‘The Avengers’ and ‘The Conjuring’ are successful ventures in India. The film ‘A Last Conjuring’ will be releasing in Hindi and English,” added Panghaal.

“A Last Conjuring” has been written and directed by filmmaker Bidisha Chowdhury. It has been sent to numerous international film festivals and has won best feature film award at the 2015 MAC Horror Film Festival.

The film’s story revolves around the character Adaline whose terrifying visions bleed through from the past and become Daniela’s present-day nightmares.

It stars Jill Evyn, Lane Townsend and Jeremy Walker.
