Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has congratulated the Indian Kabaddi team over their 74-20 win against Argentina in the Kabaddi World Cup. He says people should be proud of the countrys victory and should stop this “disgusting” habit of comparing sports negatively.
“Huge congratulations India. Some comments saying score would be reverse in football. Stop putting India down! Be proud of our country’s win and stop this disgusting habit of always comparing negatively about our nation,” Amitabh posted on Twitter on Sunday.
“Score would be three times the combined score of Kabaddi in favour of India, in cricket! Say this. Be proud of India. Proud to be an Indian,” added the 74-year-old, whose son Abhishek Bachchan owns Jaipur Pink Panthers team in the Star Sports Pro-Kabaddi League.
In the ongoing Kabaddi World Cup, India are second in group B with 16 points from three games.

Rishi Kapoor misses Nasir Husain and his films
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Sunday recalled his fond memories with legendary filmmaker Nasir Husain saying that he misses him and his work.
Husain, best known for directing films like “Tumsa Nahin Dekha”, “Dil Deke Dekho”, “Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai” and “Yaadon Ki Baaraat”, passed away at the age of 71 in March 2002.
“Nasir Husain – a senior, a friend and an amazing genius at his work. We did two films. Wanted me to do more, I couldn’t. Miss him and his films,” Rishi, who worked with Husain in films like “Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai” and “Hum Kisise Kum Naheen”, posted on Twitter on Sunday.
Husain’s nephew is Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. The late filmmaker’s son is director Mansoor Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan turns ‘desi Bond’
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently shooting for filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s “The Ring” in Budapest, turned into “desi” James Bond for children of the film’s production team.
Shah Rukh took to Twitter on Sunday to share a photograph in which he can be seen posing like the fictional British spy James Bond with two girls, while his co-star Anushka Sharma looks disappointed.
“Desi Bond with videsi little ladies. Kids of the lovely production team in Budapest. Anushka Sharma seems not to approve,” Shah Rukh captioned the image.
Shah Rukh and Anushka have previously worked in films like “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” and “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”.
