Remake was Bollywood super hit flick Jab We Met was earlier titled ‘Raja Rani’ but now the title of the film has been changed to ‘Kandein Kadhalai. Where in the Hindi flick Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kappor were been paired, in the Tamil version gorgeous Thamannah and Bharath are been cast in the lead roles.
‘Jeyam Kondan’s’ famed director Kannan would be doning the director’s cap. Earlier, Dhanush and Trisha were supposed to pair up with each other while Karu Pazhaniappan was to take on direction but the team was changed. It’s been said that Pritam who composed melodious tunes for the priginal version would be composing the song for the remake version too.
The film is scheduled to hit the floors on 11th of March.
