May 31, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): ‘Dream Merchant’ of the Kannada film industry, V Ravichandran celebrated his 49th birthday yesterday. The star, who has thousands of fans, celebrated his birthday at his residence on Dr Rajakumar road.
The star started receiving wishes from his friends in electronic and print media from 29th May itself. These friends met him on Saturday morning to wish him for his birthday as well as for his forthcoming movie.
Sunday morning turned out to be a very surprising one for the star as his fans had arranged for 100kgs of laddu from Thirumala. He spent around an hour from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning accepting blessings and well wishes from his fans, who gathered outside his house. All his well wishers were offered laddu from Sri Balaji Temple in Thirumala.
The actor cut around half a dozen cakes in the morning itself. Later, his family members and close friends also joined in to the celebrations. Anil Lad, Saiprakash, Dinesh Gandhi and Rockline Venkatesh were also present at the happy occasion.
Ravichandran is currently looking forward to the release of his upcoming movie Hoo. Sampurn Wire wishes him a very Happy Birthday and best of luck!
