Actress Angana Roy will be seen in a glamorous avatar in her upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual “Kadisi Bench Karthik“, which is currently on the floors.
It stars Bharath Niwas in the titular role.
“It’s an extremely glamorous role but nothing about it will be dirty. Unlike my previous roles, audiences will find it a tad glamorous and at the same time the portrayal will be very modern. I’m quite excited about the role,” Angana told IANS.
She plays Bharath’s love interest in the film, which is being helmed by Bhargavan.
“The characters Bharath and I play are poles apart. While I play a glamorous role, he plays a nerdy character that will be mostly seen wearing loose pants. He doesn’t know much about the outside world,” she said, and added that Bharath’s character is packed with a twist.
Angana has already shot for a week.
“Apart from a few scenes, we even shot a very glamorous song. We’re working on double call sheet, and hence, most days are very long on the sets. Since it’s a bilingual, most scenes have to be shot twice with a different set of actors,” she said.
