An Actor And Legend, Aamir Khan On Femina Cover

Published on

Superstar Aamir Khan is on a roll, with back to back massive hits and one in the making, the actor is undisputed winner of the box-office. Now the talented actor has graced the cover page of leading style magazine Femina.

The official handle of Femina dropped the cover on social media. They captioned it, “Make way for our latest cover star, the talented and dynamic @_aamirkhan! Hair: @avancontractor @nanaosoyam_ @bbluntindia, Makeup: @jogendra.gupta.3, Styled by: @prachitiparakh, Photography: @errikosandreouphoto, Location courtesy: @tajlandsend”
Aamir Khan is a superstar in India and an equally huge star in China (his PK, 3 Idiots and Secret Superstar broke quite a few records in our neighbouring nation) and could just be the peace ambassador for Sino-Indian ties.
His cinema combines entertainment with social impact (Dangal shattered gender stereotypes, PK was a satire on religious dogmas and both 3 Idiots and Taare Zameen Par took down the country’s flawed education system). His Paani Foundation has done phenomenal work in teaching watershed management to 75 drought-hit talukas in Maharashtra.
Currently Aamir Khan is promoting his biggest epic adventure “Thugs Of Hindostan” with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial film is set in 1795, the film follows a band of Thugs led by Khudabaksh Azaad, who aspires to free Hindostan (the Indian subcontinent) from the rule of the expanding British East India Company. Alarmed, British commander John Clive sends a small-time Thug from Awadh, Firangi Mallah, to infiltrate and counter the threat.
Produced on a budget of ?300 crore (US$42 million), Thugs of Hindostan is the most expensive Bollywood film. Initially titled Thug, the film marked the first time Khan and Bachchan featured together as leads, and was the second collaboration between Khan, Acharya, and Kaif, after Dhoom 3 (2013).
Thugs of Hindostan is set to be released during the week of the Diwali, on 8 November 2018.
