Befikre Girl Disha Patani confirms yet another movie on social media. The actress excited to be on-board “Sangamitra” helmed by veteran filmmaker Sundar C.
Actor and filmmaker Sundar C will be making a period film titled ‘Sangamithra’ which will be produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
Actress Disha Patani, Tweeted on social media, “Really very excited for #Sangamitra Can’t wait to start shooting for this wonderful film”
It is the same film which earlier had Shruti Haasan in the titular role and actor Jayam Ravi and Arya are also part of the project. The makers had revealed the first look posters of the film at the Cannes Film Festival early this year but the actress walked out of the film. Now Disha Patani has been roped in for the titular role.
Making an announcement on social media, Khushbu, wife of director Sundar C posted a message which read – “We introduce @DishPatani as our beautiful princess #Sangamitra. Shoot to start soon @Hemarukmani1 @actor_jayamravi @arya_offl @aditi1231”
Actor Jayam Ravi also welcomed Disha Patani on board, he tweeted, “Welcome on board Sangamithra. Looking forward to working with u.”
Disha Patani is currently prepping for her role in Baaghi 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. The film is helmed by Ahmed Khan, written by Sanjeev Datta and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banners Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. It is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi.
The movie is slated for 27 April 2018.
