Nawazuddin Siddiqui Unveils Aaya Re Thackeray

Veteran Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui unveils the introductory track Aaya Re Thackeray from the forthcoming biopic on Bala Sahab.

The actor took to his social media and dropped the single. He captioned it, “Aaya Re Aaya Re Sabkaa Baap Re, Kehte hain isko…Thackeray! #AayaReThackeray song out now…@rautsanjay61 @AmritaRao @Viacom18Movies @ajitandhare @abhijitpanse @ThackerayFilm @NakashAzizOfficial @RohanAndrohan @ZeeMusicCompany”
The song is crooned by Nakash Aziz, written by Dr. Sunil Jogi and composed by Rohan Rohan.
The song is an ode to Bala Sahab, who is loved and appreciated by millions. The song also comes with new visuals but the star of thing is Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has nailed the role of the political leader in the film.
Talking about his role, Nawazuddin said, “There was a lot of pressure, for almost a month I wasn’t even sure about performing the role. He was such a huge personality and how I am going to play that, I was worried but my director and producer gave me a lot of input about the character, as they had a tonne of details about Bala Sahab”
Thackeray is an upcoming biographical film written and directed by Abhijit Panse, made simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi. Following the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Indian political party Shiv Sena, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the eponymous person and Amrita Rao as his wife.
The film scheduled for release on 25 January 2019, the 93rd birthday of Bal Thackeray.
