Sanjay Dutt Starring Prasthanam Starts Shooting

Finally the much-awaited film Prasthanam, Hindi remake starring Sanjay Dutt, Ali Fazal, Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur, shooting has started in Mumbai.

Superstar Sanjay Dutt shared candid pictures from the first day shooting along with a beautiful message on his social media profile. He wrote, “The first day, first shot of @prasthaanamfilm. Even now, I feel excited about such new beginnings. All the best, team @SanjayDuttsProd @mkoirala @bindasbhidu @ChunkyThePanday @AmyraDastur93 @alifazal9 #MaanayataDutt @Sandy_Bhargava @satyajeet_dubey @devakatta”
The shooting of the film began in Mumbai with Sanjay Dutt, Ali Fazal and Manisha Koirala shooting for their portions, the film is helmed by Deva Katta.
Manyata Dutt, Sanjay Dutt’s wife, too was part of the first day of the shoot which kick-started with Ali Fazal shooting for his scene.
Actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role played by Sai Kumar in the original while Ali Fazal would be seen reprising Sharwanand’s role.
Sanjay Dutt has his kitty filled with various projects; he is currently busy with Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Torbaaz, Kalank, and Panipat.
Kalank is an upcoming period drama film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is scheduled for release on 19 April 2019.
