In 1993 arrest of Actor Sanjay Dutt shock the entire nation, especially Bollywood. There hasn’t been a bigger scandal in film fraternity since the arrest of the actor and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has tried to recreate the same with the new poster from Sanju.
The new poster from Sanju is out and Ranbir Kapoor is looking impressive and stunning, yet again. This time, the actor has tried to recreate the 1993 look when Sanjay Dutt first got arrested after a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.
Rajkumar Hirani tweeted the new Sanju poster just minutes ago and like always, Ranbir and Sanjay’s pictures from the said time bear an uncanny resemblance.
Hirani wrote, “Sanju was first arrested in 1993. In prison for 18 months. Could not get bail. A recreation of that time. #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi”
Sanju is an upcoming biographical film based on the life of Indian actor Sanjay Dutt, directed and written by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt in various stages of his life.
The teaser of the film is already out and viral, and as per reports, the trailer will be out within this week!
The movie also features an impressive ensemble, which includes names like Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala, Divya Khatri, Jim Sarbh, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
The film is set to be released on 29 June 2018.
