Varun Dhawan And Ayushmann Khurrana Shares Bizarre Connection

Superstar Varun Dhawan and talented Ayushmann Khurrana share a bizarre connection with their film release and filmmakers.

In 2015, Varun Dhawan starring Badlapur, helmed by Sriram Raghavan and Ayushmann Khurrana starring Dum Laga Ke Haisha, helmed by Sharat Katariya, both the films released 7 days apart. Both the films did well at the box-office.
And now in 2018, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga is helmed by Sharat Katariya, and Ayushmann Khurrana starring AnadhDhun helmed by Sriram Raghavan, are releasing only 23 days apart with direction swap.
Varun Dhawan met Ayushmann Khurrana last night on a promotional event and wrote about this bizarre connection on his social media profile. He wrote, “Ran into @ayushmannk yesterday at yrf interestingly in 24 days #SUIDHAAGA will release followed by #AndhaDhun and in 2015 #Badlapur released followed by #Dumlagakahaisha also we exchanged directors. Was this planned?”
Replying to Varun Dhawan, singer-actor Ayushmann wrote, “This is a bizarre coincidence. Both the films should do well. Just like last time. Fingers crossed VD bro”
Andhadhun is an upcoming mystery thriller film also starring Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. Ayushmann will be portraying a blind pianist in the film and some mysterious events happen in his life that leads to various plot twists.
Sui Dhaaga is based on the Make in India campaign launched by the Indian government in 2014, which was aimed at promoting the country’s indigenous textile industries.
