Sushant Singh said actors have a stressful and insecure life on the sidelines of the Grand Finale Of ‘My Mumbai Festival’.
Indian television actor Kamlesh Pandey committed suicide on Monday night in Jabalpur. The actor shot himself in the chest. The small-time actor was reportedly inebriated at the time of the incident.
Sushant Singh who has been associated with the TV show Crime Petrol for many years was asked to comment on the death of a costar Kamlesh Pandey, he said, “It is a very sad news but depression has become a part of our life now. I am CINTA secretary and in a day we are holding a 3-day counseling session for actors. Actors have a very stressful an insecure lifestyle, it is important to know how to deal with this stress.
When you have work you are stressed and when you don’t have work you are even more stressed. Such stress can only be handled with love, care, and support of each other. We are trying to figure out a way to help as much as we can.”
While talking about the Mumbai festival Sushant said, “It’s a great festival, maybe if we celebrate our city more often the citizens will realize their responsibility more. They learn to follow the rules and keep the city clean, but the celebration is a must. It great that this also proved a platform for young talent from the city. I would congratulate the team for doing such a great job. ”
The actor was last seen in ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and Savdhaan India on channel Star Bharat.
