John Abraham finally clears the air about his tussle with superstar Akshay Kumar on the sidelines of Satyamev Jayate Trailer Launch.
John Abraham and Akshay Kumar will clash at the box-office this 15th August, as Satyamev Jayate and Gold are releasing on the same date. Now John opens up about the clash and says that two movies can release on the same date, as there are enough screens in India.
Talking about Akshay Kumar being upset with John Abraham, the actor said, “Akshay Kumar is a friend, and I wish him the best, and as a producer, Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani can correct me if I am wrong, I think two films can release on the same day. There are enough screens for two films, both the films are different from different genres, they can release on the same day”
John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Aisha Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, Milap Zaveri and entire ensemble graced the trailer Launch.
John Abraham also talked about being truthful, which could be the hardest thing in life. He said, “Telling Truth is the toughest thing in the world. And however much we try and tell the truth, at some point we all fail. But I think it is one of the most important things, and when you tell the truth, a lot of load is taken off your chest. You feel lighter”
The trailer of this film has a scene where Aisha is fighting a man at John’s insistence. Speaking about the scene, John mentioned, “Your character needs to be relatable even with women”
Talking about the scene, director Milap Zaveri adds, “John was my total inspiration for that scene. He felt women should also be shown in the same light as a man.”
The movie releases on 15th August 2018.
