The teaser is epic – it is better in terms of scale and bigger in terms of special effects and landscape of the film.
The 90 seconds teaser is a scintillating cut which takes us through a brief ride into what could be Shankar’s ambitious magnum opus providing an enthralling visual experience with eye-popping VFX effects and strong technical bravura.
The teaser starts off with an interesting scene in which a mass destruction of cell phones cause panic among people and signals an imminent danger to human beings. What follows next is a faceoff between the humanized Robot ‘Chitti’ led by Scientist Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) and the Crow Man played by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
Oscar winner AR Rahman comes up with another electronica-style composition for the background score and it elevates the proceedings in the teaser and the cinematography is also terrific.
The teaser of 2Point0 promises another visual spectacle from master storyteller Shankar, which releases on 29th November 2018.
