Alia Bhatt Sets Bench Mark with Every Release – Vicky Kaushal

Alia Bhatt sets a new bench mark with every release” says excited Vicky Kaushal on bagging the role opposite actress in upcoming Raazi.
Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal are paired for the first time in Junglee Pictures and Dharma Production venture Raazi, helmed by Meghna Gulzar. The movie tells the story of a Kashmiri girl married to a Pakistani army officer in the espionage thriller.

“Getting a chance to work with Alia Bhatt, inarguably she is one the finest actresses in our industry at the moment, it is big deal for me. I am really very excited to be part of the film. The kind of work she has done; she has work wonderfully in her movies, she brings something new with each film. She set a new bench mark with her release. I am sure I’ll learn lots from her and working with her will be fun” says Vicky on working with Alia.

Karan Johar, Meghna Gulzar and Alia Bhatt, though all there hails from different genre of films. Two of the biggest filmmakers in different genre, commercial and dramatic, and one fine actress, could very well be dream come true for Vicky Kaushal.

“Working with Karan Johar, Megha Gulzar and Alia Bhatt, I consider myself very fortunate to work with such talented and master’s in their profession people. I am sure I am going to learn a lot”

“I am excited and happy, but above all I am getting a chance to collaborate with Karan Johar, Dharma Production, Junglee Pictures and I am getting a chance to work with Meghna Gulzar, it is such a deal for me” adds Vicky.

Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Raazi, is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, Calling Sehmat. The espionage thriller revolves around a Kashmiri girl, played by Alia, married to an army officer across the border, Vicky Kaushal, who provides the Indian Intelligence with invaluable information during the 1971 Indo-Pak war and saves the lives of scores of our soldiers.

Talking about the movie and the script, Vicky didn’t divulge into details, only confirmed that it is good script.
“It is a good script and an incredible story” said Vicky.
