Mumbai, 4th December 2014: It was an evening of celebration & high spirits, at a grand cocktail party, hosted by the French luxury furniture brand, Roche Bobois, in association with the Italian super sports car Lamborghini, at the Roche Bobois Flagship store, in Mumbai.

The theme of the evening aptly titled ‘instinctive technology meets cutting edge design’ showcased exquisite pieces of furniture from Roche Bobois’ Winter Collection 2014 alongside the breathtaking new sports car from the Lamborghini stable, the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4. Adding glamour to this sophisticated evening, the hosts, Mr. Samvit Tara, Managing Director, Roche Bobois India & Mr. Abhijeet Pandit, Group CEO Auto Hangar Pvt Ltd (Authorized dealers for Automobili Lamborghini) welcomed Mumbai’s swish set that included high profile industrialists, socialites, diplomats, architects and designers who admired the luxurious furniture and the spectacular Lamborghini Huracan on display.

The Roche Bobois Flagship store in Mumbai showcases exquisite furniture and accessories for drawing rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, a den and a study, laid out in lavish room settings. The highlights of the new Winter Collection include the Beach Bay Modular Sofa, designed by Philips Bouix, structured in solid wood and upholstered in Sierra leather with a pigmented finish. The Roman large 3-seater sofa, designed by the famous designer Sacha Lakic, is upholstered in Tendresse leather with contrast piping and armrest stitching. This beautiful sofa has its base in cast aluminium with an untreated metal finish. The living room furniture also includes the Lobby sofa, a 3-seater sofa upholstered in Saddle leather and designed by Cédric Ragot. The ambience of the living room is accentuated by the Aida chair, deisgned by Area 44 with its clean minimalistic contours. The dining collection includes the all new Nephtis Dining Table, designed by Studio Roche Bobois and the Unik Square Dining Table, designed by Thierry Picasette. With its base made of two interlocked Plexiglas panels, one opaque and the other transparent. It promises to be the focal point of the dining room! The dining room collection is completed with the Scalene and Colors sideboards that are well equipped with aluminium door handles, drawers, sliding trays and finished with black or white lacquer. The collection also offers stunning mirrors, bookshelves, cabinets, sophisticated lighting and beautiful accessories that complete the luxurious collection from Roche Bobois this winter.
