Ranveer Singh is prepping for his first sports drama 83, helmed by Kabir Khan and now the makers are out with a big announcement, the Punjabi sensation Ammy Virk has been roped in to play Balwinder Singh Sandhu in the film.
Filmmaker Kabir Khan helmed 83, is inspired by Team India’s first World Cup win. Actor Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Kapil Dev in the film and now the makers have locked Ammy Virk.
Ammy Virk will make his Bollywood debut with this sports drama. Ammy will reprise the role of fast bowler Balvinder Singh Sandhu who delivered the most memorable ball in the final match, castling West Indian Gordon at a crucial moment in the match.
The official handle of Reliance entertainment made the announcement via a video post.
